This Japanese manufactured pistol grip wood stock is for the Type 44 Arisaka bolt action carbine in 6.5 caliber and is in very good condition with light dings and handling marks. This stock has been modified in the forearm section having a thinner appearance from sanding making it look more like a mannlicher style with the mounting holes and retaining spring inlets filled in The upper right side of the butt stock section does have an older 4" long drying crack that appears sound. The rear swivel inlet has been filled in as well.
